The people are awesome, the cabins are cozy and the horses are wonderful. We stayed in the Hunter’s Cabin back in 2015  for a couple nights and wished we had stayed longer. In the early morning we got to see the ranch’s herd of horses run right passed our porch on their way to morning feeds.

The ride we went on (pictured right) came with unbelievable views and spectacular wildlife – I cannot say enough good things about this ranch. They cater a variety of horseback riding adventures for all levels of riding experience.

4. Sierra West Cabins

The old west is alive here at Sierra West Cabins. A gorgeous ranch nestled in expansive and spectacular mountain ranges that stretch as far as they eye can see.  The log cabins are cozy, set on the banks of a quaint creek and offer stunning day long views from all sides.

The horses here are lovely and kind but you are welcome to bring your own equine buddy to explore the stunning landscapes of the Livingstone Mountain Range too.

A trip to BC back in 2016 took us to this majestic ranch. The views here are breathtaking – between the Marble Mountains and Fraser River, every where you look the scenery is striking and extraordinarily peaceful.

If memory serves, this ranch not only had some terrific horses and ponies to ride, it was also home to some goats and a friendly pet pig who loved to nestle himself under piles of hay – adorable and fun for the whole family.

This ranch charming and inviting ranch is surrounded by truly spectacular scenery and wildlife – it’s definitely for the equestrians who like the finer things in life. P.S. I a pretty sure you have to fly to get to this resort.

We were lucky when we went on this wilderness trip – aside from the stunning scenery, we had a herd of WILD horses (pictured) come through our camp to check out (and probably try to recruit) our horses. It was an incredible experience.
